There is something more to a Catholic education that can sometimes be hard to describe. Our "higher purpose" is that more. With Catholicity interwoven into the fabric of everything we do in our schools, there are higher values, higher standards, a higher calling for service, and a higher purpose through our Catholic teaching and faith in place.

Xavier Catholic Schools are each governed by their own respective school board and feature their own unique identity and a rich tradition of excellence. While there is no central K-12 "Xavier Catholic School Board," all Xavier Catholic Schools share a common vision, collaborative spirit, and a deep commitment to developing the "total person" in a Catholic environment. This shared "higher purpose" is what drives our dedicated teachers and staff daily to be models of Christ for our children.
All Xavier Catholic Schools are entities of the Archdiocese of Dubuque and are accredited by the National Catholic Education Association and the Iowa Department of Education. -
